Sitting in a classroom in the midst of many, many students, a young girl with wide, blank eyes continued taking surreptitious glances at the table a little ways over from herself, a slight tinge of pink on her cheeks as she clasped her hands together beneath the surface of the table that she herself was sat at.
What are you looking at?
Turning her attention to the boy that had just addressed her, Hinata Hyuga shook her head slightly, before saying quietly, almost as if in a sigh, No one
No one? the boy replied, arching an eyebrow as he spoke. When did I say it was someone in the first place? I said what are you looking at, not who.
Blushing a bit at this, Hinata gave a bit of a half-shrug, before simply shaking her head again, opting to not say anything further.
Well, would this no one you speak of happen to sport blonde hair and a bright orange jumpsuit?
Kiba! Hinata exclaimed, a bit of a scowl on her face as she whipped her face around. Quiet--he might hear you!
So I am right
Continuing to scowl, the dark-haired girl turned her face away from her friend, before glancing away and back toward a certain loud, trouble-making ninja boy that she knew.
Naruto
she said beneath her breath, her scowl beginning to fade slightly as she watched him animatedly chat to a friend of his, a pink-haired girl by the name of Sakura Haruno.
Ahem.
Feeling her grimace return almost as quickly as it had left, Hinata slowly turned her face to look back at Kiba, before saying through near-gritted teeth. What is it?
Wow, such temper.
Kiba, what do you want?
Oh, well, I was simply going to point out to you the fact that a classroom is meant to be used for studying up on Ninja tactics, not on the activities of fellow ninjas that you happen to have a crush on.
Hmph.
Rolling his eyes as he watched his friend turn away from him, although he smirked a bit all the same, Kiba slowly moved to fold his arms across his chest, before leaning his head in more closely to Hinatas, until it was almost resting sideways upon her shoulder. Youre being a terrible student at the moment you know.
Iruka-Sensei is not even here yet!
Whipping her face back around to glare at Kiba, Hinata froze in place, her eyes widening even further than they already appeared to be as her nose brushed against that of his, an action that occurred due to the sudden lack of distance between their faces.
Stop picking at me
she said in a gasped whisper, before quickly jerking her head back, moving her face from his; however, Hinata was a bit too overzealous in her actions, and it resulted in her falling backwards, slipping right out of her seat sideways.
Gotcha!
Quickly moving his arms forward, Kiba bit back a bit of a laugh at his friends antics as he wrapped his arms around her, before gently pulling her back up onto her seat. You okay?
Y-Yes, Hinata replied, quickly crossing her arms over her chest as Kiba let go of her, before averting her eyes over in the direction of Naruto, desperately hoping against all hope that he had not witnessed her near-spill; much to her relief, he was still chatting away to a rather annoyed-looking Sakura. Phew
Good thing I caught you, right? Kiba said, a bit of a smirk still on his face as he spoke. Otherwise Mr. Obvious Ninja might have seen you get yourself embarrassed.
I thought I asked you to stop picking at me. Hinata replied, her eyes still on Naruto as she spoke.
And I thought I told you that classrooms were not made for stalking.
I dont stalk--well... oh, why do you care anyway, Kiba?
Why shouldnt I care?
Ugh
Turning to glance back at her friend once more, before shaking her head and sitting up straighter at the table as Iruka then stepped on into the classroom, signifying that class had begun, Hinata folded her hands in her lap, before also giving one last sneaky glance in Narutos direction as well.
Also sitting up straighter behind the table, Kiba clasped his hands together, before glancing over to his other side as another fellow student, Shino Aburame, leant in towards him as well.
Oh, well, I was simply going to point out to you the fact that a classroom is meant to be used for studying up on Ninja tactics, not on the activities of fellow ninjas that you happen to have a crush on? the insect-obsessed boy questioned, repeating Kibas earlier words as he nodded once at Kiba himself, before also nodding his head in the direction of Hinata as well. Come on, man. Practice what you preach.

Love can sometimes be magic. But magic can sometimes... just be an illusion.
Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.
A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I'm afraid of widths.
